04/06/2026 – Jack Friedman, a Junior in Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University and the Renee Crown University Honors Program, joined our lab as an undergraduate researcher. Welcome, Jack! 🎉
03/03/2026 – Dr. Zhang attended the Sharp Meets Bright-III Symposium at Rice University, and presented our recent research on nanoscale AFM-TERS characterization of 2D Janus materials. Thank you to Chih-Feng, Andrey, Tanguy, and all organizers for the great event and invitation!
02/23/2026 – Dr. Zhang served as a committee member for the SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference 2026.

08/28/2025 – Dr. Zhang has been selected for the NSF I-Corps training program and received travel funding to attend SEMICON West 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. Representing the Z-SCALE Lab, he looks forward to bridging next-generation semiconductor innovations with commercial needs and exploring potential collaborations with industrial partners.
